Understanding, taught properly.

One-on-one instruction for students at every level — from first algebra through university coursework. We teach the reasoning behind the result, not the shortcut around it.

Instruction in physics and mathematics, taught by a research physicist

Every level

Foundations through AP, IB Higher Level, and beyond

One to one

Individual sessions only — no group classes, no scripts

Three subjects, taught in depth

We deliberately teach a narrow set of subjects. Depth of subject knowledge is what makes the difference between explaining an answer and teaching a student to find it.

01

Mathematics

Structure before procedure. We identify gaps quickly, rebuild the fundamentals, and train students to reason independently.

  • Pre-Algebra, Algebra I–II, Geometry
  • Precalculus & Trigonometry
  • Calculus AB & BC
  • IB Mathematics AA & AI (SL/HL)
  • Competition & advanced problem solving
02

Physics

Mechanics through modern physics, with the mathematical modeling that serious coursework demands.

  • Classical mechanics
  • Electricity & magnetism
  • Waves, oscillations & thermal physics
  • IB Physics (SL/HL)
  • AP Physics 1, C: Mechanics, C: E&M
03

Computer Science

Computational thinking taught by a former software engineer. Students learn to engineer solutions, not to memorize syntax.

  • Programming fundamentals (Java & Python)
  • Object-oriented design
  • Data structures & algorithms
  • AP Computer Science A
  • Independent project development
Our approach

A different kind of academic support

Easy STEM School is a boutique learning studio for students who want more than homework help. We teach for mastery — deep understanding, strong problem-solving habits, and the confidence that follows from clarity.

i

Depth over memorization

Students who understand the core idea stop needing tricks. We slow down at the point of confusion rather than moving past it.

ii

Structure over stress

Every session follows a plan: diagnose the gap, rebuild the foundation, practise deliberately, then verify the student can work unaided.

iii

Ownership over outsourcing

We do not do the work for students. The goal is a student who trusts their own reasoning long after the tutoring ends.

Every level, seriously taught

Beginning students and advanced students need the same thing from a tutor: someone who knows the subject well enough to meet them exactly where they are.

Foundations
Middle school and early high school mathematics and science — closing gaps before they compound.
Honors & standard
Full-year support in algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, physics, and introductory programming.
Advanced Placement
Calculus AB & BC, Physics 1 and C (Mechanics, E&M), Computer Science A — full syllabus and exam strategy.
International Baccalaureate
Mathematics AA & AI and Physics at SL and HL, including Internal Assessment guidance.
University level
Calculus sequences, linear algebra, differential equations, classical and quantum mechanics, electromagnetism.
Test preparation
SAT, ACT, PSAT, ISEE, SSAT, and GRE quantitative — strategy grounded in real subject mastery.
“Strong foundations are everything. When students truly understand the core ideas, everything else becomes logical.” Yakov Prager, Ph.D. — Physics & Mathematics

Many students arrive overwhelmed. Over time they gain confidence — not because the material became easier, but because they learned how to approach it correctly.

Getting started
